Most successful diet plan so far
Truth be told, I hate dieting. Give me a packet of Bourbon Creams and a hot chocolate and I'm a happy bunny. But now I'm not as able as I used to be, I need to be careful about how much crap I eat and drink, so this is how I've managed to go from 15 stone to 10.5 in 18 months with little exercise (seeing as I can't walk far anymore or do anything even remotely energetic without my physio's approval):
- Breakfast: Bran flakes or Weetabix in semi skimmed milk and a cup of tea/coffee if I have time
- Mid-morning snack: Crackerbread with peanut butter on...mmm...
- Lunch: Sandwiches or soup with toast to dip in. Sometimes it's eggs and toast or jacket potato and beans if I'm feeling particularly energetic
- Dinner: Either fish, sausages, chicken breasts, pork steaks or beef/turkey mince with either pasta or rice and vegetables. Or I do mashed potato because I'm such a child and won't eat sausages without it
I have fairly small portions as I don't have much of an appetite for real food, as in anything that is even slightly good for you :D - and we never have dessert because we never remember to buy any. Don't ask me how it's worked, but it has...by rights I ought to be the size of a small country but for some reason I've kept my weight down and am now a UK size 10-12. Nice.
So, which diet plan has been your most successful?
