ectopic pregnancy - who knows?

i just came home from surgery. Ectopic pregnancy, and a blood clot to big to take out via my belly button, hence the 10cm scar on my abdomen now! The pain was unbeleivable! it was my 1st pregnancy too (very much wanted pregnancy) DOCTOR SAYS MY OTHER TUBE LOOKS HEALTHY, BUT CAN HE REALLY TELL JUST BY LOOKING AT IT???
I want a baby so badly, but it doesnt seem to be happening. Does anyone know the chances of ever conceiving again, with one "healthy looking" tube? And how can i know for sure it is healthy? If not, are there other ways???
